Zac Brown is a dedicated musician, born in Cumming, Georgia, who never gave up on his dreams starting at the age of 7 when he began learning to play classic guitar. After high school, Zac entered University of West Georgia and soon formed a band accepting gigs in clubs, bars and any other venue he could to entertain and earn money for college. For Zac Brown, 9/11 was a turning point in his life. He was quoted in one interview saying life was too short to fool around which is why he dropped out of college to pursue a real music career. In 2002 Zac formed another band whose members included Jimmi De Martini, Driskell Hopkins, Coy Bowles, Chris Fryar and Clay Cook. The Zac Brown Band started out performing country jam but quickly branched out to encompass other music genre. Zac teamed up with his father running a supper club for a couple years until the sale of the business after which Zac bought a tour bus. From his debut album 'Far From Einstyne', Zac quickly catapulted to fame winning 4 country music and 3 grammy awards in the same year. A favorite festival for Zac has been Bonnaroo Music&Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee complete with live bands, a comic tent, food, fun and unique souvenirs. Zac Brown Band has made concert stops at the Red Rock Ampitheatre and the Hollywood Bowl. A favorite videoclip for Zac Brown is one he made for 'Knee Deep' which featured Jimmy Buffett.
