Ted Nugent is a singer songwriter and conservative activist who as been performing in concert since 1958. From the years between 1965 to 1975, Ted Nugent was part of the band The Amboy Dukes, but by 1975, he had begun a highly successful solo career that included hits like "Cat Scratch Fever" and "Stranglehold". From the period between 1989 and 1995, Ted Nugent was part of the super group Damn Yankees, which consisted of other famous musicians of the time like Jack Blades from Night Ranger and Tommy Shaw for Styx. Then, in 1995, Ted Nugent left the Damn Yankees behind to once again embark on a solo career. Throughout the years, Ted Nugent has played in concert while on tour to perform for fans who love his rocking music and political opinions. Ted is very conservative and has controversial views on some subject matter and he's definitely not afraid to express his opinions. From the right to own guns, to his controversial hunting views, Ted Nugent is truly a man who uses his music and fame to pass along messages about subjects that are important to him.
