Passion Pit is an indie rock band based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The group formed in 2007 with core members Michael Angelakos, Xander Singh, Ian Hultquist, Jeff Apruzzese and Nate Donmoyer. They have released 2 full length studio albums, 1 EP and 8 singles. They are signed to record label Columbia and Frenchkiss. Their second full length record, Gossamer charted at number 4 on the United States Billboard Music Charts. In 2012, Passion Pit performed two songs on the television program, Saturday Night Live. In addition, they have received an ever-growing amount of fans since their debut offering. They continue to tour the United States as well as the rest of the world on the back of their upcoming release. Moreover, Passion Pit has received an ample amount of critical acclaim and praise for their 2 full length albums. The majority of the band members all met at the Berklee College of Music in Boston as well as 1 member who was attending Emerson College. Their music has continued to evolve over time as well as gain a new following in the United States and in Europe.
