Harry Edward Styles, better known as Harry Styles (Redditch, England, 1994) is a British artist who achieved his fame as part of the English boyband One Direction, with whom he has managed to top the charts, sell millions of albums and tour around the world, before embarking on his solo career in 2016. Styles started in the music world in high school with a band called White Eskimo. In 2010, he participated in the talent competition The X Factor, where he got a life-changing opportunity with the other members of One Direction (Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne), the band with which he released 5 albums. In 2016 Harry Styles signed a solo contract with Columbia Records. His own works are closer to rock due to his childhood influences such as Queen, Elton John or The Beatles. A year later, in 2017, he released the single "Sign of the times" of the album also titled "Harry Styles," which debuted on the Billboard 200 chart. The second album by Harry Styles is named “Fine Line” (2019), that has a marked pop sound with influences from soul and funk music. From that LP he has released the singles "Lights Up", "Watermelon Sugar", "Adore You" and "Falling". In addition to his musical career, Harry Styles has co-starred in Christopher Nolan's movie Dunkirk and has done humanitarian work for causes such as the fight against cancer, against discrimination to the LGBT + community and against racism.
