Originally formed in 2005 in Oxford, England, Foals is an indie rock band that is comprised of members Jimmy Smith, Walter Gervers, Edwin Congreave, Yannis Philippakis, and Jack Bevan. In 2008, the band release their debut album Antidotes. This album created a stir in the world of indie music, but it was not until the 2009 release of Foals' Total Life Forever album that the band achieved more of a mainstream success. The Foals' song "Spanish Sahara" can be heard on episodes of the popular television shows Entourage and Skins, and their 2012 release "Inhaler" is on regular rotation on most alternative rock radio stations. Since 2006, Foals has released six EPs including Live At Liars Club and Gold Gold Gold, three albums including 2013's Holy Fire and 15 singles including "Olympic Airways", "The Orient", "My Number", and the chart topping "Inhaler". Although it is still early in their career, Foals is a band that is certain to become even more popular in the years to come.
