Deftones are a band that have been creating a blend of experimental alternative metal rock sounds since the 2000 debut release of their album Adrenaline. Comprised of members Chino Moreno, Chi Cheng, Frank Delgado, Abe Cunningham, and Stephen Carpenter, Deftones' music style is influenced by the legendary heavy metal bands Metallica and Anthrax. In total, Deftones have released seven albums including 1997's Around The Fur and 2006's Saturday Night Wrist and a slew of singles that include "Digital Bath", "Change (in the House of Flies)", "Hole in the Earth", and "Diamond Eyes". Deftones music is a moody and often dark kind of sound that borrows from genres of music like alternative metal, trip hop and glitch, and with each album it is quite evident that their sound is evolving and changing constantly. Through the years members of Deftones have embarked on individual solo journeys, but they always seem to end up back together again.
