Since 1987, New Jersey based band Blues Traveler has been creating a unique blend of sounds that borrow from blues, psychedelic, folk and southern rock. Led by the vocals and soulful harmonica sounds of John Popper, Blues Traveler also includes members Tad and Chan Kinchla, Ben Wilson, and Brendan Hill. In the early to mid 1990s, Blues Traveler found a loyal group of fans who would follow the band from state to state, which instantly lumped Blues Traveler into a jam band similar to Phish and The Grateful Dead. With albums like Save His Soul, four and Straight On till Morning, Blues Traveler has developed a catalog of music that includes 12 studio albums, 4 live albums, and 16 singles, including the enormously popular mainstream hits "Runaround" and "Hook". If you have never heard Blues Traveler frontman John Popper display his amazing harmonica skills, here is your chance with the music video for the song "The Mountains Win Again". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4OTDztS_iA
