Blitzen Trapper's Community, tickets, shows, tour 2023-2024

Portland, Oregon based alternative country band Blitzen Trapper has been creating a experimental blend of folk/country music since the 2003 release of their self titled debut album. Comprised of members Eric Earley, Brian Adrian Koch, Marty Marquis, Erik Menteer and Michael Van Pelt, Blitzen Trapper's heavy use of the harmonica combined with storytelling lyrics is quite reminiscent of legendary musicians like Bob Dylan and The Byrds. Since the release of their debut album, Blitzen Trapper has gone on to release 5 more studio albums, 2 EPs and 3 7" Singles. In 2008, Rolling Stone magazine named Blitzen Trapper's Furr album number 13 on Rolling Stone's Best Albums of 2008, and they have also won critical acclaim from a variety of other music publications and music critics. Since beginning their career, Blitzen Trapper has played in concert while on their own tours, and they have also performed on the festival circuit.
