The Privacy Policy governs the processing of personal data provided by any natural person (hereinafter, the User or Users) through the website www.wegow.com (hereinafter, the Website) owned by Wegow Technologies S.L., with registered address in Bilbao, Spain, Calle Rodriguez Arias No. 51, Mezzanine right, 48013 Bilbao; holding Tax ID No. C.I.F. B86767761, registered in the Madrid Commercial Registry, Volume 31305, Page 81, Sheet No. M563489 (hereinafter “WEGOW”).
If you wish to register on the Website and/or create your profile, you must read this Privacy Policy and provide consent for the processing of your data by checking the box that appears in the registration form and/or in the “create a profile” section. Likewise, this Privacy Policy shall apply to the personal data that Users provide through the contact form included on the Website and through any other section that allows the input and submission of personal data.
Users and Profiles
In order to enjoy WEGOW’s services, Users must register by completing a registration form.
The information provided through this form will be available and may be modified by Users through their user account and profile.
The User shall be fully responsible and must provide real and truthful information in their user account and profile. WEGOW will endeavor to verify the accuracy of the data, reserving, without prejudice to other actions, the right not to register or to deregister a User if the data provided is false or incomplete. The obligation to maintain a real profile is essential in WEGOW.
When Users register on WEGOW, they may publish and share content and real personal information. Personal information will be shared according to the privacy settings chosen by the User and under their exclusive control.
It is the User’s responsibility at all times to control their information. WEGOW does not control and therefore assumes no responsibility for the possible collection and processing of Users’ information by other Users or by third parties.
The User may choose in the settings section between a public profile or a private profile, which by default at the time of registration will be shown as public.
If the profile is public, it may be recommended to other users as a perfect companion and the profile information will be shown to other users.
If the profile is private, it will not be recommended to other users as a perfect companion and the profile information will not be shown to other users.
In both cases, the images uploaded to Moments will be displayed to other registered Wegow users.
Minimum Age for Registration
The services provided by WEGOW through the Website are not intended for Users under 16 years of age. By using the services, Users declare and guarantee that they are at least 16 years old. Therefore, no person under 16 years of age may provide their personal data.
Users between 16 and 18 years of age must inform their parents or legal guardians about the use of the Website and the services they intend to carry out, as well as when transmitting information to third parties contacted through the service. If WEGOW is informed that a minor is registered as a User without parental consent, the necessary measures will be adopted and the User’s account may be deleted or blocked.
If at any time the User provides WEGOW with personal data of third parties with whom they maintain some relationship, the User guarantees that they are lawfully authorized to provide such data and that they have informed and obtained consent from those third parties for the communication of their data, being liable if this is not the case. Notwithstanding the foregoing, WEGOW will make every effort to properly process such third-party data.
The WEGOW team may contact Users at any time to verify their real age by requesting a copy of their ID card or an equivalent document. If the User does not provide such information within the indicated timeframe, WEGOW reserves the right to block or cancel the User’s account.
The ID data or document provided will be used solely and exclusively by authorized WEGOW personnel for identification purposes and will not be stored or processed for any other purpose.
Processing of Personal Data
The personal data provided by Users through the Website, both at the time of registering their account and when creating their profile and/or contacting WEGOW through the Website’s contact section, will be included in a file duly registered with the Spanish Data Protection Agency and owned by WEGOW.
Therefore, by completing a registration form, creating a profile and/or providing personal data through the Website, the User expressly consents to the processing of their data by WEGOW in accordance with this Privacy Policy and for all the purposes indicated below.
Likewise, the User consents that the data provided for the purpose of purchasing tickets may be communicated to promoters, brands, collaborating companies at the event and companies associated with the event (artist, venue, promoter, ticket sales website) for actions implicit in the proper functioning of the event (access control...), promotional and informational purposes in accordance with these conditions. Said entities will process Users’ personal data exclusively for the purposes indicated in this Privacy Policy.
In the event that WEGOW decides to transfer its Users database to a third party within the framework of commercial transactions of any nature, including but not limited to merger, spin-off, global transfer of assets and liabilities, contribution or transfer of business or business branch, or any similar corporate restructuring operation contemplated under commercial regulations, the User consents to the assignment, communication and making available of their data to said third party (who will act as the new data controller). Users will be informed of such operation and granted a reasonable period to object to the processing of their data by the new controller.
WEGOW processes the personal data provided by Users in order to identify them, grant them access to services and make available to them all facilities and applications of the Website.
Likewise, by accepting this Privacy Policy and registering on the Website, Users authorize and consent to WEGOW processing their data for the purpose of sending them information (both regarding changes and updates related to the Website, as well as activities, products, services, offers of WEGOW, etc.) through i) the Website, ii) electronic messages sent by WEGOW to the email accounts associated with Users’ accounts, iii) SMS messages and/or iv) calls to mobile phones provided by the User. This information may be segmented based on the information provided by Users (age, location, among others) in order to provide a personalized service and send information that may be relevant to them.
The User must notify WEGOW of any modification to the data provided, being responsible at all times for the accuracy and truthfulness of the data supplied.
In any case, the User may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, which may be exercised by them and, where applicable, by their representative, by means of a written and signed request addressed to WEGOW by postal mail (sent to the address indicated above) or by email (sent to info@wegow.es).
Such request must be accompanied by the following data: User’s name and surname, address for notification purposes and a photocopy of the national identity document or passport. In the case of representation, this must be proven by reliable documentation.
WEGOW informs that it has implemented the necessary technical and organizational security measures to prevent alteration, loss, processing and/or unauthorized access, taking into account the state of the art, the nature of the stored data and the risks to which they are exposed.
Data Retention
The personal data provided to WEGOW will be retained for the legally required period necessary to ensure compliance with WEGOW’s legal obligations.
Provision of Data to Third Parties
Some of the services accessible through the Website may depend on and/or interact with other websites, platforms and services owned and/or managed by third parties, so Users may be required to register on such third-party platforms and provide certain information in order to access the services. The processing carried out by such third parties will be governed by their respective privacy policies. WEGOW assumes no responsibility whatsoever for the processing of Users’ personal data carried out by such third parties.
If authorized by Users, WEGOW may access their musical preferences expressed through platforms such as Facebook, Spotify, or iTunes. WEGOW will process the data contained on such platforms solely for the purpose of personalizing the services provided to the User and will not communicate them to any third party.
International Data Transfers
WEGOW does not transfer data outside the European Economic Area. In the event that data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, WEGOW will adopt the necessary legal measures.
Security Measures
WEGOW informs the User that it has implemented the necessary technical and organizational security measures to guarantee the security of personal data and prevent its alteration, loss, processing and/or unauthorized access.
Content and Personal Information
In addition to personal data, Users may share comments, opinions, images and other information through the Website, which will be subject to the General Terms and Conditions.
WEGOW does not control the information shared by Users with other Users and/or third parties and therefore is not responsible for such information. However, if any User becomes aware of content on the Website that may be inappropriate or contrary to this Privacy Policy and the General Terms and Conditions, they should contact WEGOW by sending an email to info@wegow.es
Invitations
WEGOW Users may invite friends to join WEGOW. In order to send invitations, Users must provide the email address of their contacts. The User declares, under their sole responsibility, that they know the recipient of the invitation and have their consent to use their data for the purpose of sending the invitation.
WEGOW will not use the data included in the invitation and especially the recipient’s email account will be used exclusively to send the invitation. WEGOW will not store or further process that email address.
Users must make proper use of the invitation system in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions.
Unsubscription from WEGOW
Users who wish to unsubscribe from WEGOW only need to send an email (from the email address associated with their WEGOW account) to info@wegow.es expressing their intention to delete their account.
