Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center has been around since 1995 and has seen its name change over the years. Originally known as the CoreStates Center, we’ve seen sponsoring changes come and go, as it has also been known as the First Union Center, and the Wachovia Center, all of which came to replace Philly’s beloved Spectrum. The important thing is what has remained constant over the years – the Flyers and 76ers have called Wells Fargo Center since its inauguration. It has also played home to the arena football team the Soul, and hosted countless concerts over the years. Like any modern day sporting arena, the venue can be transformed to house 20,000-plus when live music comes to Philadelphia.
