We Came As Romans, comprised of members Eric Choi, David Stephens, Andy Glass, Kyle Pavone, Joshua Moore and Lou Cotton, is a post hardcore rock band who at one time was pegged as a Christian rock band because of their positive song lyrics . Originally calling themselves This Emergency, the band changed their name to We Came As Romans by the time they released the 2008 ep, Demonstrations. In 2009, We Came As Romans released the Dreams ep and by this time, they had gained recognition through their concert and festival appearances. Later in 2009, We Came As Romans released their debut studio album, To Plant A Seed, and quickly embarked on an extensive tour for the later part of 2009 and all of 2010. We Came As Romans' 2011 sophomore release, Understanding What We've Grown To Be, was again followed by a whirlwind tour of sending out a message of positivity through music.
