Seattle, Washington based indie folk rock musician Damien Jurado has been creating his own blend of critically acclaimed music since the mid-1990s. At the time, Jurado released music on his cassette only music label named Casa Recordings. Through his early recordings Juardo not only developed a cult following of fans, but he also earned the recognition of the popular alternative music label Sub Pop and soon found himself with a record deal. Juardo released his debut, full length studio album in 1995, and since that time he has gone onto release a total of 12 studio albums including 2000's Ghost Of David, 2005's On My Way to Absence and 2008's Caught in the Trees. Along with his impressive collection of studio albums, Juardo has also released 14 EPs and singles including 1998's Chevrolet, 2003's Holding His Breath and 2006's Gathered In Song. Juardo is best known for his experimental music that often blends unique sounds gathered from different tape recordings.
