Two Door Cinema Club, formed in 2007, is an indie rock band from Northern Ireland. Their first EP Four Words to Stand On was released in January 2009. It was well-received by critics, prompting the band to begin recording their first studio album the following July. The album, entitled "Tourist History," debuted March 1, 2010 in the UK and April 27, 2010 in the US. Following the release of their freshman album, Two Door Cinema Club toured the UK and Ireland opening for a number of bands, including Delphic, Phoenix, autoKratz, and Metronomy. They performed at the iTunes Festival (London), and also played concerts at the Southside/Hurricane (Germany) and the Splendour at the Gates(Australia) festivalsall in 2010. On January 13, 2011, Two Door Cinema Club embarked on a two-week tour of Canada and the US, accompanied by Canadian band Tokyo Police Club. In addition to a concert at Glastonbury on July 24, 2011, the group also performed at Lollapalooza that following August. The music video for their single "What You Know" debuted January 2011 on multiple MTV platforms, while the official music video for their second single "Undercover Martyn" was released soon after.
