Toots and the Maytals comes from Kingston, Jamaica and was born in 1963. The band members are Nathaniel "Jerry" Mathias, Henry "Raleigh" Gordon, Harold Butler and Toots Hibbert. Their musical style is mainly considered Jazz, Reggae, Rock, Ska, Electrónica, dub, roots reggae and world christmas.
