What began as a side project of vocalist and songwriter Casey Crescenzo of the hard rock band The Receiving End Of Silence turned into the indie rock band The Dear Hunter. Crescenzo was tired of creating post-hardcore music with End Of Silence so he turned his musical creativity into a completely different blend of experimental progressive rock through The Dear Hunter. Along with Crescenzo, The Dear Hunter is comprised of members Maxwell Tousseau, Connor Doyle, and Crescenzo's brother, Nick. In 2005, The Dear Hunter released their debut album Act i: The Lake South, The River North and since that time they have released 4 other albums and 3 EPs. With songs like "Evicted", "Mustard Gas", and "City Escape", The Dear Hunter has found a following of fans who come to witness their concert experience, and they have made tour stops at popular musical festivals like The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and the Bamboozle Festival.
