Luke Bryan: Bright New Star in the Country Constellation Luke Bryan became an sensation in 2007 when he released his first album Ill Stay Me. His first singles, All My Friends Say, and Country Man made the top 10 on Billboards Hot Country Songs chart. His follow 2008 release, Doin My Thing went gold, as did his third album, Tailgates and Taglines, which was released on Aug. 7, 2011 and debuted at #1 in the Top Country Albums chart. Luke won Top New Artist and Top New Solo Vocalist for 2009 at the 2010 Academy of Country Music Awards (CMA). Luke was given a guitar as a teenager, formed a band and began writing his own music, but it took years of hard work to make it nationally. His songwriting was encouraged by his family, who pushed him to move to Nashville to pursue his dream. The start of his career was delayed when his brother died in a car accident the day he first set out to leave for Music City. Luke has devoted fans who have given him three #1 hits on the country singles charts Rain is a Good Thing, Do I, and Someone Else Calling You Baby. Luke's concert venues range from: opening act for Tim McGraws Emotional Traffic tour, featured act in the Farm Tour in 2011 and numerous appearances in the annual CMA music festival.
