Lionize is a band that has often been described as being a modern day band that should have been alive and playing in the 1960s. Their sound is a delicate mix between soul, rock and classic reggae. Their lead singer Nate Bergman has been described as having a sexy and soulful voice. Other original members of Lionize are: Henry Upton on bass, Mel Randolph playing drums and Chris Brooks on the keyboard and vocals. They were invited to play at the 2011 Bonnaroo Festival in Manchester, Tennessee. Bonnaroo has been called the modern day Woodstock for its ability to bring together many different genres of music under the banner of concert fun and world peace. Their early tour dates had good enough success that they began to branch out into the music video scene. Several of their videos are available to play to thousands of fans on popular hosting sites such as YouTube. Lionize has emerged from the pool of musicians to gain quite a following all over the U.S. and the world.
