Although Justin Townes Earle claims to have spent much of his youth troubled and addicted to drugs, he has risen above his difficulties to become a respected and adored musician who is often seen playing in concert on the festival circuit. Since the 2007 release of his debut album Yuma, Justin Townes Earle has released a total of 5 albums which have gained him the recognition of winning 2 Americana Music Awards. Although Justin Townes Earle has lived a rough life that has been filled with difficulties, he has proven to be an example of how a person can rise above addiction to become a very successful individual.
