Grizzly Bear is a Brooklyn, New York based indie rock band who has been creating music since 2002. Grizzly Bear is an experimental band who creates a psychedelic indie rock type of sound that is unlike any other type of music present in the indie rock music scene of today. Fronted by the powerful and emotional vocals of lead singer Ed Droste, Grizzly Bear is also comprised of members Daniel Rossen, Christopher Bear and Chris Taylor. Grizzly Bear released their debut album titled Horn of Plenty in 2004, and since that time have gone on to release three more albums, 2006's Yellow House, 2009's Veckatimest and 2012's Shields. Since 2006 Grizzly Bear has released seven singles including "Knife", "Two Weeks" and "Sleeping Ute", and through their songs a new and unique sound of experimental art rock music has emerged. Through the years Grizzly Bear has toured with indie rock favorites like Radiohead, a few members of which refer to Grizzly Bear as their favorite band.
