Black Veil Brides was formed in Hollywood, California in 2006. They are an American rock band at core with heavy leanings towards glam, metal, hard rock, metalcore, and post-hardcore. The group was formed by and consists of Andy Biersack (lead vocals), Ashley Purdy (bass, backing vocals), Jake Pitts (lead guitar), Jinxx (rhythm guitar, violin) and Christian "CC" Coma (drums). Black Veil Brides are heavily influenced by glam rock groups of the eighties, such as Motley Crue and Kiss. They wear tight elastic pants and loads of make up on stage creating a similar aesthetic to the heavy metal groups of the past. The band has released three full length album records. They are We Stitch These Wounds (2010), Set the World On Fire (2011, Wretched And Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones (2013). Black Veil Brides have toured international and have played numerous heavy metal music festivals around the world. Most notably they toured with some major acts in the metal and rock genre like Avenged Sevenfold, Murderdolls, Hollywood Undead, and Asking Alexandria. They are signed to Lave/Universal Republic record label and are planning their next tour around the LP release of Wretched And Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones, which is due out early 2013. The band has a devoted and ever increasing fan base and are working on their next course of shows for 2013 which will see the band expanding their network of metal rock for the years to come.
