Vicente Fernandez is an extremely popular musician within the Latin music community. Although not quite as well known amongst people who speak only English, Vicente Fernandez has won the title of "The King of Ranchera Music" in the Latin music world. This talented musician's concerts continue to sell out whenever he goes on tour, and his records have sold an impressive 65 million copies worldwide. Vicente Fernandez's debut single, "Perdoname", was released in 1966, and since that time he has gone on to release an impressive 60 albums. For most of his career, Vicente Fernandez did not win recognition through any awards until finally he won both a 2002 Latin Recording Academy's award for Person of the Year, and a 2010 Grammy for Best Regional Mexican Album. Although Vicente Fernandez is 72, there is no slowing him down as can be seen here in his music video for the 2011 song "Volcanes Dormidos". http://youtu.be/46IZpiwbZgI
