Information of Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift has made her name as the sweetheart darling of pop/country. Her personal relationships and philanthropist efforts have gained her international celebrity notoriety, but nothing has managed to slow her down since her emergence onto the Billboard Charts in 2006.

From the age of twelve, Swift knew she wanted to be a singer/songwriter. At the age of fourteen, she submitted a karaoke tape of her cover to Dolly Parton and Dixie Chicks to an independent record label in Nashville, Tennessee. Executives were taken with the observational narrative in her lyrics and her personal oversight and devotion to her ever growing legion of fans. She opened for George Strait and the Rascal Flatts.

In 2007, Taylor Swift was the youngest to be named the Nashville Songwriters Association's Songwriter/Artist of the Year and was named the Academy of Country Music Awards Top New Female Vocalist. Her career has awarded her a total of six Grammy awards, with other honors from the BMI Awards, Country Music Association, Academy of Country Music Awards, and Nickelodeon's Kid's Choice Awards, making her one of the most nominated female country stars of all time. In 2010, she was honored with The Hal David Starlight Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Taylor Swift has highlighted Shanai Twain and Faith Hill as musical influences to her sound and style.
