Born in Barcelona the actress and singer has with the alias PAVVLA found the path that goes from folk-ballad to James Blake’s smooth electronic music. The Spanish artist debuted last year with “Creatures”, an album overflowing with warmth that opened the doors of pop to her and made her one of the essential references for lovers of the best electronic subtleties thanks to tracks like “GUNS” and “Skin”. “Creatures” is an wintry and dark album but capable of transmitting warmth and light at the same time.
After playing highly acclaimed showcases at SXSW and Primavera Sound among others big Spanish Summer Festivals, big media worldwide such as NPR or BBC Radio 1 are praising her unique dark atmosphere combined with the emotional lyrics and her brilliant folk tunes. Compared to icons like Agnes Obel or the band Daughter the 20-year-old PAVVLA set her own footprints by selling out most of her shows in 2017 and after having played 96 gigs for a debut album tour in countries like Spain, Germany, UK, Switzerland and the USA.
