One Direction's Community, tickets, shows, tour 2023-2024

Like earlier bands New Kids On The Block and The Backstreet Boys, X-Factor season seven third runners up One Direction is an example of how the genre of boy band music is still alive and kicking. One Direction descends from British-Irish roots and is comprised of members Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson to create a pop rock sound that has been proven to be quite popular, and lucrative, in the past. Following their 3rd place status on X-Factor, One Direction signed on for a major label recording contract and instantly, their debut single "What Makes You Beautiful" was born. Immediately after its release, "What Makes You Beautiful" hit number one on the UK Singles Chart and soon after, to the excitement of their adoring fans, One Direction released both their debut album Up All Night and a second single called "Gotta Be You". In early 2011, One Direction played in concert on the X-Factor Live Tour and late 2011 - early 2012 will see these 5 guys performing to sold out crowds on their debut headliner UK tour.
