Meek Mill is a hip hop artist and occasional actor who was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on May 6, 1987. Born as Robert Williams, Meek Mill began his musical career at the age of 19 as a member of the rap band TheBloodHoundz. TheBloodHoundz released four mixtapes and although the band would never find success, Meek Mill has found a lucrative career in hip hop as a solo artist. Altogether, Meek Mill has released a catalog of music that includes three promotional singles, two collaborative albums, nine mixtapes and 11 singles including the chart making songs "Ambition", "I'm Rollin'", "Lean Wit It", and "Check Me Out". Along with creating music, Meek Mill has also stirred some controversy and experienced legal issues as seen when he was involved in a 2012 bar brawl with fellow hip hop artists Drake and Chris Brown.
