Information of Matchbox Twenty

Comprised of members Rob Thomas, Brian Yale, Paul Doucette, and Kyle Cook, Matchbox Twenty is a pop rock band that has been creating music since 1995. The Florida based band released their debut album in 1996, the enormously successful Yourself Or Someone Like You album, and this was followed by four more albums including 2000's Mad Season and 2007's Exile On Mainstream. Matchbox Twenty has released a slew of hit singles including "Push", "3 A. M." and "Real World", and their music has won them four Grammy Award nominations. Lead singer Rob Thomas brought further attention both to himself and the band when he wrote and sang the vocals on the wildly popular song "Smooth" with rock legend Carlos Santana playing guitar. Not only did the popularity of this song earn Thomas praise from music lovers, but he won three Grammy Awards for his part in writing and performing the song.
