Since 1986, the Latin American band Mana has been creating enormously popular Mexican pop songs. Mana, which in English means a supernatural, mystical force that takes over the body of a living creature, has released a total of 11 albums between the years 1987 and 2011, and is a band that after 25 years is still extremely popular in the Latin music world. Mana's music has not only won the band numerous fans, but they have also won the praise of the music industry. As of 2012, Mana has won over 75 music awards, including 4 Grammy Awards and 7 Latin Grammy Awards. Throughout their long and highly successful career, Mana has played in concert on a variety of tours that include the 1998 Liquido Tour and the 1999 Unplugged U.S. Tour. Upon the release of their 8th studio album in 2011 "Drama y Luz", the first single "Lluvia al Corazón", became the band's sixth song to reach number one on the Billboard Latin Songs chart, as well as its eighth song to top the magazine's Latin Pop Songs chart. Its no surprise recognition was awarded to the band where in 2016, Maná was inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame. By 2018, Mana received the Billboard Latin Music Lifetime Achievement Award and performed live on Telemundo from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
