Information of Lee Ann Womack

Country music sensation Lee Ann Womack has been creating modern country music with an old fashioned flair since releasing her self titled debut album in 1997. This album created 2 of Lee Ann Womack's first hit singles, "Never Again, Again" and "The Fool" and it completely exemplified why she is often compared to female legends of country music like Dolly Parton and Tammy Wynette. The following year produced Lee Ann Womack's 2nd studio album, "Some Things I Know" and shortly after, she won the American Music Award for Favorite Country New Artist. Although these first few years of Lee Ann Womack's career were highly successful, it was the 2000 release of her album "I Hope You Dance" that totally cemented her spot as one of country music's finest performers, especially after the chart busting release of the crossover hit of the same name as her album, "I Hope You Dance".
Throughout the years since beginning her career, Lee Ann Womack has won many music awards including the 2001 Grammy Award for best country song with her hit "I Hope You Dance". She has performed in concert while on tour to millions of adoring fans and was even the headliner on the 2011 CMA Music Festival.
Here is the music video for the song that launched Lee Ann Womack into country music super stardom, "I Hope You Dance".
