Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, known worldwide as Lady Gaga, was born and raised in New York.

Lady Gaga decided to abandon her studies to focus on her musical career. She started as a composer, but the artist Akon noticed her talent and gave Lady Gaga the opportunity to sign with a record label.

In 2008 she released her first album, which led her directly to success. Her next albums 'Born this way' (2011), 'Artpop' (2013), took her to the top of the charts.
In 2014 he published his latest work 'Cheek to Cheek', a jazz album collaborating with Tony Bennett which also reached number one on the charts in the United States.
Since then Lady Gaga has collected a long list of worldwide known hits, often accompanied by impressive music videos.

Throughout her career Lady has won numerous awards, became one of The Songwriters Hall of Fame (TSHF) inductees with two Golden Globe awards and a recent Oscar (Academy Award for Best Original Song) for her work on the movie "A Star is Born."
