Information of Kendrick Lamar

Kendrick Lamar is a hip hop artist who hails from Compton, California. At a young age, Kendrick Lamar's idols were Dr. Dre and Tupac Shakur, both of whom inspired Lamar to create his own style of rap music. At age 16, Kendrick Lamar released his first mixtape, Youngest Head Nigga In Charge, and since that time he has released 3 other mixtapes, 1 EP and 2 collaborative albums. Kendrick Lamar has appeared on singles with a slew of other artists including Wiz Khalifa, Jay Rock, Game and Big Pooh, and recently he even had the chance to record the song "The Recipe" with his idol Dr. Dre. Although his career is still in the early years, Kendrick Lamar has played in concert while on his own tour and as a guest performer at both the Musiq Headline 2012 Spring Splash Festival and Bacardi's +(Plus) Festival.
