Marshall Bruce Mathers III is the real name for the world-renowned rapper Eminem, born October 17, 1972 in St Joseph, Missouri. He rose to fame in 1999 with his second album "The Slim Shady" with which he also won a Grammy Award. Their third album increased their sales to be the best-selling album in hip hop history. In 2003 he won the Oscar for Best Original Song for "Lose yourself", which was part of the soundtrack for the film in which Eminem played the main role: 8 Miles, a film also based on his own life. In 2014 he released his ninth album "Shady XV". Throughout his career he has sold more than 155 million copies of his albums.
