Information of Brad Paisley

Although born in Wheeling, West Virginia it appears growing up in Glen Dale, West Virginia was the best thing that could ever have happened to him because according to Paisley this was a town where people believed in kids and did everything possible to get them started in the music industry. Paisley began singing in his church and was taught to play guitar by his grandfather at the ripe old age of 8. By the time he was 13 Paisley formed a band 'Brad Paisley & C Notes' with three adults as his sole crew members. His debut as a song writer came at age 10 when he wrote 'Born On Christmas Day.' While still in junior high Paisley sang on the radio with stars such as The Judds, Ricky Skaggs and George Jones. Paisley went on to earn a degree in music business from Belmont University in Nashville. Paisley's producer, Frank Rogers, and writing partner, Kelly Lovelace, were college friends. 1999 was a big year for Brad Paisley cutting his first record on Aristes label and becoming the youngest performer ever invited to the Grand Ole Opry stage. Paisley's first tour was with Reba McEntire and Terri Clark for '2 Hats & A Redhead.' Among his many accomplishments are appearing in concert at The White House and performing 22 songs in 2 hours at a country music festival in Maine. Paisley has won music video of the year 3 times with his first being for 'Im Gonna Miss Her.' YouTube URL www.youtube.com?v+q3zkkLekeyM
