Angel Haze, noted rapper and lyricist, began to develop an interest in making music at the age of 16. She released her first EP, Reservations, online for free in 2012. The album was praised by critics. The same year, Haze was featured on a track titled "Can't Trust Em" on Dizzy Wright's Free SmokeOut Conversations.
Haze's 2012 mixtape Classick saw the release of her cover of Eminem's "Cleanin' Out My Closet." Critics call her cover of the song the "superior product." She has performed the song live in concert only once, to a UK audience. She was later nominated for The Sound of 2013 poll in the UK.
Her sophomore album, Dirty Gold, was released late in 2013, also to critical acclaim. Haze has released several digital download mixtapes, and has been featured on tracks with artists like Bassnectar, Skylar Grey, Rudimental, and Crudbump. She has released two diss tracks that take aim at rapper Azealia Banks under the titles "On The Edge" and "Shut The F*ck Up."
Haze has been nominated for awards and featured on magazine covers. Her career in the music industry has only just begun. If her early releases are any indication, she is certain to have a long and fruitful career with plenty of touring.
