Formed in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia in 2005, The Temper Trap is an indie rock band comprised of members Dougy Mandagi, Toby Dundas, Lorenzo Sillitto, Jonathon Aherne, and Joseph Greer. They have released a self titled EP and two full length albums and from these musical recordings five singles have been released including "Science of Fear", "Need Your Love" and "Sweet Disposition". The Temper Trap has been well received both with indie music lovers and music critics, and their music has won a total of six music awards, including three APRA Music Awards. This Australian indie rock band's music can also be heard on episodes of the television shows Chuck and The Vampire Diaries, and their music can also be heard in the movies No Strings Attached, Neighbours and Home and Away. While The Temper Trap's post-punk revival sound of indie music found initial success in the UK, their music has grown in popularity all over the world.
