Information of The Doobie Brothers

The Doobie Brothers are a a swamp/country rock band that formed out of San Jose, California in 1970. Originally known by the name Pud, the band quickly changed their name to The Doobie Brothers based on a suggestion given by a friend because of the band's love of marijuana cigarettes. Although The Doobie Brothers initially gained recognition through their live concert experience while on tour, they eventually went on to release 13 studio albums including 1976's Takin' It To The Streets and 1978's Minute By Minute. Throughout their career, which has undergone many changes in the band's lineup, The Doobie Brothers have created a slew of popular hits including "Listen To The Music", "China Grove", and "What A Fool Believes", the latter of which won a 1978 Grammy award for Record of the Year. This is a music video for the song that won The Doobie Brothers a Grammy award, "What A Fool Believes".
