Made up of members Curt Smith and Roland Orzabal, Tears For Fears are a band that helped create the new wave synthesizer sound of the 1980s. The 80s were the big years for Tears For Fears. In 1983, Tears For Fears released their debut album, The Hurting, which produces the marginally successful singles "Mad World" and "The Way You Are". Then came their biggest selling album to date, Songs From The Big Chair. This was the album that catapulted Tears For Fears into mainstream musical success and it also contained 3 of their biggest hits to date "Shout", "Head Over Heels", and "Everybody Wants To Rule The World". Their next album, 1990's Sowing The Seeds Of Love, while still very popular, never seemed to match up to the success of Songs From The Big Chair. Soon after, Tears For Fears broke up, but each member currently has side and solo projects in the works. This is the music video for one of Tears For Fears biggest hits to date, "Everybody Wants To Rule The World". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ST86JM1RPl0
