Musical performer Robyn, given the birth name Robin Miriam Carlsson, is a creator of a dance pop sound that first gained recognition with the popular dance pop music hit from the 1990's named "Do You Know (What It Takes)". Although Robyn found moderate success through "Do You Know (What It Takes)", it wasn't until the release of her next single "With Every Heartbeat" that Robyn achieved worldwide mainstream music success. Since 2007, Robyn has released 5 albums, including 1999's My Truth and 2005's Body Talk, that have earned her both nominations for and wins of a variety of music awards. Robyn has recorded a duet with Snoop Dogg called "U Should Know Better", performed in concert as the opening act for Katy Perry's California Dreams Tour and even made an appearance at the 2010 Rokskilde Festival.
