Formed in 1985 in Los Angeles, rock 'n' roll band Guns N' Roses exploded onto the music scene in 1987. Their debut album, Appetite for Destruction, which featured Welcome To The Jungle and Sweet Child O' Mine, sold more than 28 million copies worldwide. The original members were Lead Singer Axl Rose, Lead Guitarist Slash, Drummer Steven Adler, Bassist Duff McKagan and Rhythm Guitarist Izzy Straddlin. In 1991, having enough material to release 2 albums, Guns N' Roses released Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II, which debuted number 1 and 2 on Billboard. This was followed by the Use Your Illusion World Tour which was a masterpiece but was often overshadowed by the bands late starts, and Axl's rants between songs. In Missouri, Rose tackled a fan that was taping the concert, and assaulted him. He then left the unfinished concert citing bad security. A riot ensued and several fans were injured. Drug addictions and personality conflicts have taken its' toll on the band over the years, and Axl Rose remains the only original member. Controversy still follows the band, as they ticked off fans at the 2010 Reading Festival in England, by starting an hour late. The band was met with chants and boos from the crowd, and Axl stormed off the stage. Guns N' Roses have released a total of 6 albums and in 2011 found out they would be inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame.
