Graveyard is a Swedish band that blends an eclectic mix of hard rock, psychedelic rock, blues rock and heavy metal to combine into a sound that can best be described as modern hard rock with a classic 70's feel. Or, as Graveyard describes themselves on their myspace page, "Black Sabbath meets Rolling Stones meets Led Zeppelin meets Janis Joplin". Graveyard's current lineup includes musicians Joakim Nillson, Rikard Edlund, Axel Sjoberg and Jonatan Ramm. Graveyard was first discovered in 2007 by TeePee Records when the record company's founder, Tony Presedo, stumbled across Graveyard's demo tape on their myspace page. Soon after TeePee's discovery, Graveyard headed into the studio to record music and by late 2007, they released their debut self titled album. Graveyard's debut album won them the praise of critics and landed them a spot on 2008's mega popular annual concert event in Austin, TX known as the South By Southwest Music Festival. Graveyard went on tour in 2008, first with the band Witchcraft, then with Clutch, which was followed by a 2009 tour with rock band CKY. In 2010 Graveyard went back into the studio to record their second studio album, Hisingen Blues, which was released in early 2011.
