Eddie Vedder is an iconic and influential musician who is best known as the lead singer of the legendary rock band Pearl Jam. Vedder, who was born Edward Louis Severson III, uses his unique and powerful voice to create songs that have helped define a generation. Ranked #7 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of Best Lead Singers Of All Time, Vedder's voice can be heard on nine Pearl Jam albums including Ten, Vitalogy, Yield, and Riot Act, and he has also released two solo albums, 2007's Into The Wild and 2011's Ukulele Songs. While Vedder is best known for the chart topping hits he created with Pearl Jam, he has also created chart topping hits as a solo artist. With Pearl Jam, Vedder has been the voice of well known hits like "Alive" and "Evenflo", and his solo work includes the song "Hard Sun" and a remake of the Beatles' classic song "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away". Along with creating legendary music as the lead singer for Pearl Jam and finding nominal success as a solo artist, Vedder has also played himself in a variety of movies including 1992's Singles and 2011's Off The Boulevard.
