Chronixx is part of the "Reggae Revival," the themes of much of his music involve being resilient, and themes of romance and anti-war sentiment. His first studio album was released in 2011, and was entitled "Hooked on Chronixx." The next studio album hit in 2014, "Dread and Terrible" and within weeks had topped the Billboard Music Reggae Charts. By this time, his popularity had spread far beyond Jamaica, becoming known worldwide.
