Indie pop rock band Miike Snow has been creating music since the 2009 release of their self titled debut album. Comprised of members Christian Karlsson, Andrew Wyatt and Pontus Winnberg, Miike Snow has not only gained recognition through their band's music, but they have also gained attention through their musical work with artists like Brittney Spears, Madonna and Kelis. In 2011, Miike Snow created their own record label, INGRID, along with fellow indie rock musicians Peter, Bjorn and John, Dunjen and Lykke Li from which they released their second album, Happy To You.
Formed in Sweden in 2007, indie pop band Miike Snow is comprised of musicians Andrew Wyatt, Christian Karlsson and Pontus Winnberg. Previous to meeting up with Andrew Wyatt and becoming Miike Snow, band members Christian Karlsson and Pontus Winnberg were a songwriting duo who created hits for artists like Brittney Spears, Madonna and Kylie Minogue. Miike Snow has released two albums, 2009's Miike Snow and 2011's Happy to You, which have produced 7 singles that include the songs "Padding Out" and "Animal". Miike Snow has appeared in concert at over 15 different popular music festivals including Coachella, Lollapalooza and the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, and their music can be heard on a variety of soundtracks for television shows like Gossip Girl, 90210, Cougar Town, Jersey Shore and Chuck.
