Troxy isnt shy of history, built in 1933 as a cinema, damage to its infrastructure after WWII converted it into an opera house favourite before it became a live venue in 2006 with its 3,100 capacity. The re-branding of the establishment saw it used to hosts music concerts, immersive cinema events, award ceremonies, conferences, product launches, indoor sport, film screenings, parties and weddings. It has hosted NME, Kerrang and other national music awards, big name artists have performed there and it is considered a vital part of East London's history, being made a Grade II listed building in 1990.
