Josh Groban's career began when he started attending the public school, Los Angeles High School for the Arts. Originally interested in acting, his vocal coach, Seth Riggs, submitted a tape of Groban singing "All I Ask of You" from the musical Phantom of the Opera to producer David Foster. It was then that Foster invited Groban to rehearse a duet with Celine Dion for the 1998 Grammy Awards. After hearing his talent, Rosie O'Donnell invited Josh Groban to appear on her talk show. He was then asked to perform at several different concerts and performances. He later began to record his own music and became a singer, songwriter, actor, musician, and music producer. It was in the early 2000's that his first album was released, and by 2006 he was on his third album titled "Awake". Performing concert after concert, his "Awake" world tour took him to 71 different cities in just seven months. By 2007 he was the number one top selling artist in the U.S. with over 21 million records sold. Since then, he has performed at many different concerts and festivals including the Sundance Festival, and he has even appeared on shows such as The Oprah Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and many more.
