Info

Fleetwood Mac is one of the most influential bands of all time. They formed in the late 60's in London, England. They went on to release 17 full length studio albums to much mainstream and financial success. Their records were released on music labels, Reprise, Blue Horizon and Warner Brothers Records. Their music has been compared to other contemporaries such as, John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, Eddie Boyd and Savoy Brown. Fleetwood Mac were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. During their heyday in the mid to late 70's their albums were commercial successes. Two albums in particular went on to become landmark album records, Rumors and Tusk. Current members of the band are Mick Fleetwood, Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, and John McVie. The name Fleetwood Mac was the combination of two of the original members last names spliced together. From 1970 up to the present time, Fleetwood Mac has toured religious both in the UK, United States and rest of the world. Their first tour was called Kiln House Tour in 1970. The band was mostly recognized for combining beautiful harmonies and vocal melodies within a traditional rock and folk rock style, epitomized by groups like The Byrds, Beach Boys and The Beatles. However, Fleetwood Mac created their own inimitable and highly influential sound.
