Joe Bonamassa is a singer, songwriter and guitarist of blues music. At 14 years of age, Bonamassa first began his musical career when he, along with Robby Krieger's (The Doors) son Waylon and Miles Davis' son Erin began a band by the name of Bloodline. Bloodline release two marginally successful singles, "Dixie Peach" and "Stone Cold Hearted", and being in the band helped give Bonamassa the music exposure he needed to begin a very successful solo career as a blues musician. Bonamassa has released one album as part of Bloodline, and he has released 10 studio albums as a solo artist including 2004's Had To Cry Today and 2009's The Ballad Of John Henry. Bonamassa is a well known figure on the blues music scene, and he has played with an enormous amount of wildly successful musicians including Eric Clapton, B. B. King, Derek Trucks, Warren Haynes, Steve Winwood, and Gregg Allman.
