Everything Everything is an alternative rock band from Great Britain. Their music has been classified as indie pop, indie rock, progressive and rhythm and blues oriented. Core members Jonathan Higgs, Alex Robertshaw, Jeremy Pritchard and Michael Spearman founded the band in Manchester, United Kingdom in 2007. Since forming the group, Everything Everything has gone on receive an ample amount of critical acclaim for their first two studio albums. Man Alive was the group's first full-length record that was released in 2010. In 2013, Everything Everything released their follow-up sophomore record called Arc. Both albums gained the band a massive following in both the United Kingdom and Europe. Since 2007, the band has released seven single releases. The band has also been recognized for their creative and interesting music videos. More specifically, Johnathan Higgs is responsible for directing almost all of the band's music video output to date. In 2009, the band won a Times Music Award for the highly anticipated Breakthrough Award category. In 2012, the NME ranked the group's single, "Cough Cough" in their year's end top fifty tracks list. The group is planning on writing new material for their third full-length studio album.
