Marlay Park is located just outside of the city of Dublin, five-plus miles to the south in the Rathfarnham suburb. Inside the park you can find the Marlay house, plenty of wilderness, sports complexes, and, what we’re interested in here at 5gig, an open-air music venue! Capable of holding 32,000 screaming music fans, Marlay park has been hosting concerts since 2000 during the summer months. Many big-name rock and pop acts have taken the stage, including Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Metallica, Green Day, The Killers, Muse, and Van the Man Morrison. Summer 2015 will present plenty of opportunity to see live music, as current gigs scheduled can be seen below. Highlights include: Avicii with Rudimental on 3rd July.
